July 14, 1932 - February 27, 2014

Cora Rapier of Corbin, KY, passed away at her home Thursday evening, February 27, 2014.  Born in Whitley County July 14, 1932, to the late Everett Rogers and Daisy (Wynn) Rogers, she lived to be 81 years, 7 months and 13 days of age. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ozias (Zeke) Rapier; one great-grandson, Larry Edward Allen III, one step-son, Ozias Rapier, Jr.; one brother, Larry Rogers and one brother-in-law, Paul Hart.

 She was the loving mother of Sandra Miracle and husband Charles of London; the grandmother of Shandalier Kilburn and husband Darren, Chad Miracle, Stephanie Ball and husband David, and Travis Miracle, all of London; the great-grandmother of Dakota and Savanna Kilburn, Marshall, Charlie, Jacob Miracle, Taylor-Marie and Lance Miracle, all of London; the sister of J.B. Rogers and wife Joyce, Delores Hart and Katherine Angel, all of Corbin; and sister-in-law of Pat Rogers, of Corbin.

 She leaves behind other family members and many friends, all to mourn her passing.

 Cora was a Pro-amateur shuffle board player and was of the Holiness faith.

 Services for Cora Rapier will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 2, 2014, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Darren Kilburn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Dowis Chapel Cemetery at Woodbine.

 The family will receive friends from 12 until the funeral hour Sunday at the Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin.
