Cynthia Nantz Boggs
August 24, 1953 - September 21, 2024Cynthia Nantz Boggs, 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Born August 24, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Nola Kathleen Jackson.
Cynthia had a passion for caring for others. Some of her hobbies included drag racing, dancing, and listening to music. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She found immense joy in their laughter and milestones.
In addition to her mother, Cynthia was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Mills, and father-in-law, Dwight Boggs.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dwight Stanley Boggs; her daughter, Mary Messer and husband Todd of Keavy; daughter, Natasha Aubuchon and husband Christopher of Lily; son, James Stephens Boggs of Corbin; son, Presley Boggs of Lily; daughter, Destini Boggs of Lily; grandchildren: Brittanie Smith and husband Trey, Kyle Messer and wife Brittnie, Lee Aubuchon and wife Felicia, Lucas Aubuchon, Allison Messer, Sarah Aubuchon, Mackenzie Aubuchon, Aubrey Aubuchon, Bailey Aubuchon, Mahaile Aubuchon, and Shayna Ellison; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Robinson and husband Wayne of Woodbine; and brother, John Engle and wife Brenda of Gray. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her immediate family, Cynthia opened her heart and home as a foster parent, providing love and support to many children in need. Her compassion and dedication to helping others profoundly impacted the lives of those she cared for, and her legacy of kindness will continue through them.
Cynthia was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Randall Lee and Greg Medlin officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Mills, Jack Engle, Lee Aubuchon, Lucas Aubuchon, Trey Smith, and Justin Stevenson. Honorary pallbearers are John Engle and Kyle Messer.
