Dallas H. Eaton

March 13, 1943 - December 3, 2014

Dallas H. Eaton, 71, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at Baptist Health Corbin.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Vietnam War.

 He was born March 18, 1943, in Whitley County to Robert L. and Elsie Rogers Eaton.   He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents: John and Delpha Rogers and Alex and Nancy Eaton. 

 He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Leaetta Maudie Napier Eaton; five children: Teresa Battering, Ricky Eaton, Robert Eaton (Jewell), Dallas Ray Eaton (Tammy), and Dora Deniece Eaton Wells (William); 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; his mother, Elsie Mae Eaton; two sisters: Joyce Ann Rogers (J.B.) and Martha Kinman; and two brothers: Darrell Eaton and Denver Eaton, as well as other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Letcher Napier officiating.  Burial will follow in Corinth  Cemetery with military rites conducted by the D.A.V. Chapter 158.

 The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

    It time for sorrow . Dallas will be missed . Praying for everone who knew him .he will be missed by many .we have had some good times together and made plans for more but I guess no more . But we will never forget him . And good luck to his family

    I am so very sorry for your loss I only learned of this just now I would have been there if I had known, I Love you Momma and you too Denver and Darrell if you need me you know how to reach me, that goes for Joyce and Martha too. If there is anything that I can do let me know I didn’t know Dallas I only met him once but he was my family because all of you are my family, I am praying that God will give you comfort during this time, I love you all.
