Danny Joe Scott, 81, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. Born June 17, 1944, he was the son of the late Hallie and Myra Scott.
In addition to his father and mother, Danny was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Scott.
Danny was a member of 19th Street Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the United States Marines, where he served as an air traffic controller. Later, he and his wife owned and operated a NAPA auto parts business in New Mexico. He also enjoyed farming, especially raising sweet corn. Meanwhile, Danny was quite adept and capable of accomplishing multiple tasks and was always willing to learn what he did not already know how to do.
Danny leaves behind his two brothers: Gary Scott and David Scott (Barbara), along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 19th Street Church of Christ.
