David Jones, 73, passed away while in Hospice Care on January 14, 2026, in Palm Coast, Florida.
Born December 6, 1952, in Corbin, Kentucky, David was the son of the late Perry Jones and Mattie (Hill) Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Gladys Napier, Lester Ray, Billy, Kenneth, Raymond, Karen Monahan, and his infant sister, Iva Jewel.
He is survived by his sister, Claire Wagner, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Hart Funeral Home, 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.
Burial will follow in Sams-Hill Cemetery.
