July 8, 1938 - April 14, 2020

Doris Louise Mayne, 81, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at her home. Born July 8, 1938, in Harlan County, she was the daughter of the late John Matt and Daisy Patrick.

A loving mother and grandmother, she was a member of 19th Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Harold Mayne; and by five siblings: Don Patrick, Lonnie Patrick, Roy Patrick, Barbara Jean Ingram, and Susie Loudermilk.

She leaves behind her daughter, Sheri Freeman and husband Don; her granddaughter, Ashley Freeman; and three siblings: Loraine Laney and husband Ron, Phyllis Herd and husband Walter, and Wayne Patrick and wife Terry. She is also survived by other relatives and numerous friends. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

Due to restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral and burial services will be private. Hart Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

    Aunt Louise will be missed. She was a lovely person who made my mom feel very loved and surrounded by family in her last years. I am sure once Louise greets Jesus, Harold, and her parents my mom and the rest of the brothers and sisters will all be waiting with hugs.

    Sheri, Don and Ashley I am deeply sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with her very much yall made it so easy to be part of the family. She was a wonderful person. I think about her often. Prayers for your family!
