Dr. Karl Reckenthaler
January 29, 1931 - October 15, 2015Dr. Karl Reckenthaler, 84, of Corbin passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born January 29, 1931, he was the son of the late Albert and Kathleen Reckenthaler.
He was a fourteen-year Navy Veteran and a physician.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sylvia Reckenthaler.
Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Jackson and husband Earl of Corbin; grandchildren: Daniel Jackson (Debbie) of Bristol, TN, Linda Brock (Donnie) of Bristol, TN, Gregory Jackson (Maggie) of Ashville, NC, and Patricia Bragg (Joe) of Waynesburg, KY; great-grandchildren: Shannon, Jacob, Trevor, Nicholas, Daniel, Alyssa, Sydney, Miranda, and Matthew, as well as other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 18, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
