Edith Karr Cummings
July 29, 1916 - November 2, 2016Edith Karr Cummings, 100, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in Dayton, OH. Born July 29, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Dona Karr.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Lonzo Mitchell and Bud Cummings, four brothers, and three sisters.
She is survived by one sister, Pearl Huckleby and husband John; one brother, Earl Karr; and three step-daughters: Maxine, Virginia, and Mary; as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, November 6, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Fugitt officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery at Keavy.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2:30 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
