Ella Louise Thaler, 80, of Gray, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.
Born on November 17, 1945, in Woodbine, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Noble and Cecil Gabbard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Dottie Gabbard and Glenda Sue Harness, and her brother, Daril Gabbard.
Louise is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Andrew “Andy” Thaler, Sr.; son, Thomas “Tom” Andrew Thaler, Jr.; son, Jeffery “Jeff” A. Thaler and wife Christie; granddaughter, Sydney Thaler; brother, Jake Gabbard and wife Barbara; and brother, Jerry Gabbard and wife Dorothy.
Louise was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her family, especially cooking their favorite foods, goulash and cheddar biscuits.
Meanwhile, she worked for many years as an office manager.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky.
