Ellen Ann Johns
August 4, 1950 - September 1, 2024Ellen Ann Johns, 74, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, at her residence. Born August 4, 1950, in Jellico, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Judy Willis.
In addition to her father and mother, Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Johns; daughter, Marie Osborne; four brothers; and three sisters.
Ellen enjoyed writing books, especially children’s books and about events of her life, photography, and coloring. She also had a special fondness for animals, particularly her doggie, Wiggie.
Ellen leaves behind her daughter, Anna Johns and fiancé Leonard Huff; son, Johnny D. Johns and fiancé Sissy Paul; son, Danny Ray Osborne; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Geneva Reynolds; sister, Marie Johns and husband Lee; and brother, David Willis. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ellen was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 4, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Darris Broughton officiating. Burial will follow in Corn Creek Cemetery in Woodbine, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Wednesday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.
