Ellosie Lovins
March 24, 1921 - October 6, 2015Elossie Lovins, age 94, of Corbin was born March24, 1921 and passed away October 6, 2015, at Baptist Health Corbin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Berry Lovins; son, Jerry Lovins; and infant daughter, Glenda Jean Lovins. Elossie was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by four children: June Lovins of Corbin, Janice Campbell and husband Dencil of Corbin, Joyce Smallwood and husband Dennis of Corbin, and Jewell Smith and husband Bill of Lily; five grandchildren: Tammy Wilson, Les Jackson, Travis Lovins, Anthony Campbell, and Timothy Smallwood; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Les Jackson, Travis Lovins, Anthony Campbell, Timothy Smallwood, and Leon Cowden.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 Friday, October 9, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton. Burial will follow in McHargue Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday at the Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin, KY.
