Etta L. Martin
April 14, 1926 - August 23, 2017Etta L. Martin, 91, of Lily passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Kentucky One Health in London. Born April 14, 1926, in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Barker. She had a strong dedication to the Lord, her family, friends, and other loved ones.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Edd Martin and her brother, Eugene “Art” Barker.
She leaves behind her son, Edward Martin and wife Bertie of Lily; two grandsons: Justin Martin, of Hattiesburg, MS, and Tommy Martin of Bowling Green, KY; two step-grandchildren: Donnie Hale of Corbin and Doug Hale (Pam) of Cincinnati, OH; two great-grandchildren: Taylor Hale of Corbin and Brittany Martin of London, as well as nieces and nephews, and many friends, all who loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 27, 2017, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mark Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
