Eunice Farmer

December 3, 1935 - December 15, 2018

Eunice Farmer, 83, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Fayetteville, NC.  Born December 3, 1935, in Harlan County Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Harl and Lillie Gambrel. 

She was a founding member of New Hope Church of God in Corbin, KY.

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eulis “Dude” Farmer; six sisters: Thelma, Stella, Stacey, Della, Ruth, and Ruby; and brother, Ernest. 

She is survived by two sons: Rickey Farmer and his wife Muriel and Ronald Farmer and his wife Chong; five grandsons; six great grandsons; and one great granddaughter, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 21, 2018, at New Hope Church of God with Pastor Paula Farmer, Pastor Mike Addison, and Pastor Paul Cooper officiating.  Entombment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery Baxter, KY.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

    To the Farmer Family,
    Brother and Sister Farmer were such a blessing loved everyone they saw and were true prayer warriors.

    We could not make a donation through the funeral home so I made a donation to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society.
