Gladys Maxine Asbridge
October 28, 1923 - April 16, 2020Gladys Maxine Asbridge died on 16 April 2020, at Corbin Nursing Home, Corbin, KY.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband C.S. Rapier; her mother and father, Stella and William Harp; her sisters, Rushie Lawson, Mae Childress, and Grace Cadle; and her brothers, Bill Harp and Clarence Harp. Five other siblings died as young children.
Also preceding her in death were her husband Vernon Asbridge; her daughter, Jolene Baker; and her beloved grandson, Andy Baker.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Al Baker of Zionsville, IN; her grandchildren: Bret Baker and his wife Angie of Woodland Park, CO, and Ross Baker and his wife Becky and their children, Thomas and McKenzie of Carmel, IN; by her son Chuck Rapier and his spouse Audie Stewart of Port St Lucie, FL; by two special nieces, Ann Hacker and her husband Bill of Corbin and Nina Lawson Brooks of Chiefland, FL.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Corbin.
Following her request, her body was cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
