Greta Karr
March 26, 1952 - November 25, 2023Greta Karr, 71, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023. Born March 26, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Zula Cobb.
In addition to her father and mother, Greta was preceded in death by her son, David Allen Karr; grandson, Justin James Morgan; two sisters: Susie Selman and Margaret Ison; and brother, Charles Cobb.
A faithful servant of the Lord, Greta was a member of Lily Church of Christ. She loved her family and church family, and she was, indeed, beloved by them. A perfect description of Greta can be found in Proverbs 31: 10 – 31 as she embodied the virtuous woman therein described.
Greta leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 58 years, Dennis Wayne Karr; three children: Henry Wayne Karr and wife Melanie, Laura Denise Morgan, and Charles Ledford Karr and wife Jennifer; two bonus children: Jenna Rhiannon Karr and Nicholas Allen Karr and wife Morgan; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Greta was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral and church services were attended by her family and church family at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Hart Funeral Home.
