Hendren “Hank” Franklin Green
June 22,1929 - August 28, 2019Hendren “Hank” Franklin Green, 90, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born June 22, 1929, in Bell County, he was the son of the late Mance and Bessie Green.
He was a U.S. Army VFW Korea. His working career was spent as a foreman in commercial roofing.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by all of his nine siblings: Walter, Lina, Ruby, Ernest, Lucy, Ken, Sam, June, and Pansy.
He leaves behind four daughters: Eva, Judy, Carol, and Gail; 10 grandchildren: Frank, Greg, Adam, Gary, Anna, Mark, Michaela, Tommy, Cassondra, and Shania; 19 great grandchildren; and one great- great grandson, as well as many other relatives and friends, to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 31, 2019, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Herschel Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Post 88 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. – 1 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
