Hubert Ronald “Ronnie” Hood
September 23, 1945 - December 23, 2014Hubert Ronald “Ronnie” Hood, 69, of Woodbine passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at St Joseph Lexington Hospital.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Born September 23, 1945, in Corbin, he was the son of the late Walter and Retha Hood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Hood, and a sister, Patricia Ann Harmon.
Survivors include his three children: Denise Allen, Robert Hood, and Beth Hood; his children’s mother, Sandra Hood; five grandchildren: Ashlee Hood, Amber Hood, Zachary Hood, Jay Baytos, and Carrie Hood; great-granddaughter, Marea; six siblings: Billie Mackey and husband Arvalee, Janice Smith and husband Paul, Barbara Jean Cook and husband Milford, Donald Hood and wife Flo, Wanda Bowman and husband Jim, and Michael Hood and wife Bambi, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 27, 2014, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Decker officiating. Burial will follow in Hood Cemetery with military rites conducted by the D.A.V. Chapter 158.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
