Irene Hickey Beddingfield, 87, formerly of Corbin passed away December 4, 2013, in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Born February 20, 1926, in Corbin, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Paris (Wyatt) Cox.
She was the beloved wife of Paul Beddingfield, of Taylor, Michigan, loving mother of Phyllis Kay of Southgate, Michigan, and dearest sister of Verley Roaden of Westchester, Ohio, and Shirley Fite of Cincinnati, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Hickey, Sr., son, Harold Hickey, Jr., son-in-law, Ralph Kay; sister, Geral Merrit; and three brothers: James S. Cox, William C. Cox, and Fred Cox.
A service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Charity Baptist Church with arrangements by John Molnar Funeral Home, Southgate Chapel, in Michigan.
A funeral service will also be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hodge and Pastor Tim Beddingfield officiating. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
The family of Irene Beddingfield will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour Monday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
