Jacquelyn M. Jones
April 15, 1934 - March 3, 2016Jacquelyn M. Jones, 81, went home to be with our Holy Father on Thursday, March 3, 2016. She was born April 15, 1934, in Corbin, Kentucky.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corbin and had worked several years as the executive director of Baptist Housing.
She was married for 58 years to Bobby C. Jones who survives.
Bob and Jackie have three daughters and their husbands: Robbye K. Edwards and Donnie, Cheryl A. Calvert and Joe, Kelly J. Brown and Aaron; five precious grandchildren and their wives: Nathan K. and Ashleigh M. Edwards, Aaron Michael Edwards, Joseph P. Calvert and Katie, Austin C. and Brittany L. Brown, and Hannah E. Brown; two very precious great grandsons: Caleb D. Edwards and Callan M. Edwards. She is also survived by two sisters and two brothers: Jimmietta Jones, Suzanne Powell and husband Ron, Hugh J. Mullins and wife Debbie, and Ray G. Mullins and wife Susie; sister-in-law, Shirley A. Lippolis, as well as many nieces and nephews and numerous close friends.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, James Fred and Edith G. (Hopkins) Mullins; sister: Wilfreda Harr; grandson, Michael Ray Edwards; and nephew, Danny M. Holsclaw (Mickey).
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 7, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
