Dear Brenda, I just learned of John’s passing and was also unaware of his recent health problems. I am so sorry to learn of his passing! John and I go all the way back to our high school years (1962-65). We were pretty close friends then and we spent a great deal of time together. When I went to college we somehow drifted apart and I have seen him only twice since about 1968 (once at the barber shop here in Corbin and again during church at Poplar Grove about 4 years ago). For the most part, since 1968, we lost contact; for that I am truly sorry. Please know that I am thinking of you and the very good times that he and I had together. You should be assured that he is now in a better place for I know that he found God and Jesus Christ.
