Johnie C. Rapier
May 14, 1934 - August 8, 2016Johnie C. Rapier, 82, of Woodbine passed away Monday, August 8, 2016, at his home. Born May 14, 1934, he was the son of the late Marshall and Laura Rapier.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry Rapier, and a grandson, Lynn Rapier.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Rapier; three children: Robin Roe and husband Tom, Gary Rapier and wife Dorothy, and Keith Rapier and wife Judy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Dowis Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Friday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
