Johnny Jarvis
November 27, 1950 - December 8, 2022Johnny Jarvis, 72, of Corbin passed way Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Born November 27, 1950, he was the son of the late Boyd and Ida Jarvis.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by all his siblings.
Johnny was a loving husband, father, and papaw. His greatest joy centered around his family. He especially enjoyed family gatherings and playing corn hole.
Johnny was a United States Army veteran.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Theresa Jarvis; daughter, Tracy Saunders and husband Mike; daughter, Stephanie Short and husband Cotton; and eight grandchildren: Haley Shelby, Matthew Harp, Paige Smith, C.J. Short, Ben Short, Malachi Saunders, Sydney Short, and Lynsey Short.
Johnny was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 A.M. – 12:30 P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Hart Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at A.R. Dyche Cemetery in London, Kentucky. Mike Saunders will be the officiant.

John gave me the best daughter in-law Tracy whom I call my daughter. Then what else can I say but Matthew is one of my six grandchildren and such a fine young man and I thank John for I see a lot of him In Matthew prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻
