Kayla Shea Poff
October 13, 1996 - January 1, 2020Kayla Shea Poff, 23, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Born October 13, 1996, in Corbin, she was the daughter of Gary and Nikki Storms, who survive.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ruby Storms and Vernon Storms; great grandparents, Grover Watkins and Ruby Watkins; and uncle, Timothy Scott Campbell.
In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her fiancé, Brandon Cox; brothers: Jacob Scott Poff, Christopher Storms, Matthew Storms, and Timothy Storms; grandparents, Jerry and Jean Campbell; uncle, Jerry Campbell, Jr.; two additional uncles; seven aunts; future father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony Cox and Debbie Cox; future sisters-in-law, Brittany Cox and Brooklyn Cox; and future niece, Rileigh Hart. She is also survived by other relatives and numerous friends. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, January 6, 2020, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Brent Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Andes Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
