Larry A. Baker
June 14, 1950 - February 15, 2017Larry A. Baker, 66, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
Born June 14, 1950, in Leslie County, he was the son of the late Brack Baker and Mona Baker who survives.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joyce Baker; one son: Ricky Baker and wife Maria; one daughter: Shana Caldwell and husband Joey; three grandchildren: Kevin Estrada, Hannah Baker, and Tristan Baker; and one brother: Jerry Baker, as well as other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2017, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Kilburn and Michael Asher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Baker Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

My family and I are so sorry that you lost such a wonderful person in your life. I was blessed to know Larry for many years and he was always the same, a smile, kind and loving to his family; also a wonderful son to his mother and all that knew him. I know that he left enough precious memories to last everyone a lifetime and he will always be in your hearts and mine everytime you look around you. Each of you is in my prayers,
Tristan is sick with whatever is going around and sorry I didn’t get to be there, Jordan was there early today and talked with Grandma Mona. He has grown a foot or more since you saw him, so you might not have recognized him.
