May 2, 1924 - May 6, 2016Margie O. White, 92, of Corbin, wife of the late Walter White, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at Christian Health Center with her family by her side. She was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Flossie Ford; brothers: James “Bo” Ford, William “Jink” Ford, Earl Ford, Bert Ford, Jr.; sisters: Marie Smith, Pauline McCracken, Mildred “Tom” Felts, Daphine Clouse; a great grandson, Oscar “Ozzy” Falkowski; a daughter-in-law, Diana White.
Survivors include her son, Gary “Dork” White and wife Charlotte of Corbin; son, Earl “Take” White of Corbin; daughter, Nancy Davis and husband Eldon, Jr., of Corbin; daughter, Carolyn “Dottie” Calder and husband Kenny of Valparaiso, Indiana; son, Tim White of Corbin; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and many friends, all to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 8, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Wynn officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Sunday.
