Mary Charlene Thomas
March 18, 1938 - March 18, 2022Mary “ Charlene” Thomas, age 84, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, at her home. She was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, on March 18, 1938, to the late Cares Dilbeck and Daphna Dilbeck. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Thomas.
Charlene is survived by her sister, Christine Mayes of Middlesboro, Kentucky; three sons: Mark Good (Esma) of Somerset, Kentucky, Melvel Good (Christy) of Somerset, Kentucky, and Mike Myers (Debbie) of Corbin, Kentucky; four grandsons: Joshua Hensley (Melissa) of Somerset, Kentucky, Coty Myers (Whitney) of Corbin, Kentucky, Matthew Myers (Sara) of London, Kentucky, and Zac Chambers of Somerset, Kentucky; two great-granddaughters: Lily Myers and Adalyn Myers; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 in the afternoon on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Hart Funeral Home in Corbin, Kentucky. Her nephews, Dale Jones and Ricky Dorton, will officiate the service. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Josh, Coty, Matthew, Zac, her nephew, Ronald Jones, and family friend, Ted Burk.
