Maxine Reedy
August 22, 1926 - November 19, 2024Maxine Reedy, 98, of Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Born August 22, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lillard and Julia Alsip.
In addition to her father and mother, Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Reedy; daughter, Sheila Parker; and seven siblings.
She leaves behind her son, Curtis Reedy; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters: Ida M. Barineau, Joan Carman, and Charlotte Angel; brother, Charles Alsip (Karyn); and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 21, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Herschel Walker officiating. Entombment will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701.
