Nannie Craig, 101, of Corbin passed away Friday, February 27, 2015.  She was a member of Frankfort Baptist Church.

Born January 5, 1914, in Bark Camp, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Mary Jane Roaden. 

In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nolan Craig; seven brothers: Leonard Roaden, Bill Roaden, Johnie Roaden, Lawrence Roaden, Ambrose Roaden, Lake Roaden, and Dewey Roaden; one sister: Maggie Parks; and her son-in-law: Richard Massie.

She is survived by one brother: Cholen Roaden; two children: Harold Craig and wife Violet of Corbin and Lozella Massie of Hamilton, OH; two special foster children: Jeannie Williams and husband Bryan of Charlestown, IN, and Butch Walters and wife Rita of Corbin; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; four foster grandchildren; and eight foster great grandchildren, as well as other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Hodge officiating.  Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery with grandsons and great grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

    Nannie was a bright and shining star. She will be missed by many here, but has been welcomed by more in heaven.
