Paul L. Taylor, Sr.
November 22, 1936 - October 11, 2014Paul L. Taylor, Sr., 77, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014. He was a member of Goldbug Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
Born November 22, 1936, in Kettle Island, KY, he was the son of the late Demps and Grace Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Marvin.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Taylor; five children: Paul L. Taylor, Jr. (Milton Race), Terri Flanary (Randy), Dolly Wilson (Arnold), Jean Ellis (Steve) and Matt Taylor (Patience); grandchildren: Miranda Hinkle, Elizabeth Lawson, Rachelle McKiddy, Seth Ellis, Aaron Ellis, Devon Hope Ellis, David Flanary, Justin Flanary, Benjamin Taylor, and Jacob Taylor; five great-grandchildren; four brothers: Lloyd Taylor, Doyle Taylor, Demps Taylor, Jr., and Wayne Taylor; four sisters: Dorotha Widener, Barbara Storms, Pat Goodin, and Sandra Taylor; as well as other relatives and numerous friends, to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2014, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery with military rites conducted by the D.A.V. Chapter 158.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
