Pearl Gladys Alsip Moberly

March 24, 1915 - May 28, 2016

Pearl Gladys Alsip Moberly, of North Carolina, formerly of Corbin, KY, passed away in Corbin  Saturday, May 28, 2016.  She lived to be 101 years, 2 months, and 14 days of age.

 She was preceded in death by her husband Ollie; daughters Shirley Gray and Ruth McCubbins; and two grandchildren.

 Among her survivors are five children:  Edna Gentry and husband Thomas; Ora Moberly and wife Sally; Priscella Parker and husband Lauther; Christine Coley; Robert Moberly and wife Robin; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, all to mourn her passing.

 Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 (Noon) Tuesday, May 31, 2016, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.  Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery.

 The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.

    granny am glad I got to see you last year at your birthday and again after that I just wish could have seen you this year.. I know you were hurting in the heart and soul for grandpa let a lot suffering from being sick so much god knows when you cant take it anymore and you couldn’t that’s why he has you under his arm now you and grandpa save me some rom I will be with you guys and we all can sit on the front porch and wait for everyone else to show up..
