Peggy Marcum Mackey
March 4, 1934 - January 3, 2016Peggy Marcum Mackey, 81, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Corbin.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Dan and Ethel Frodge Marcum; her husband, John Mackey, her son, Danny Hooper, her brother, Jerry Marcum, her sister, Anna Sue Marcum Wyatt and husband Alry, and a nephew, Daniel Marcum.
She is survived by four nephews: Doug Wyatt and wife Jennifer, Curt Wyatt and wife Sandy, Mike Wyatt and wife, Sandy, all of Corbin, and Lee Marcum of Richmond; one niece, Debbie Wyatt Dewees and husband Perry; several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and four step daughters and sons: Susan Freeberg, Bill Nachand, Stewart Mackey, and Kathy Bunch. She is also survived by four aunts: Florine Tharp, Geraldine Cope, Joyce Frodge, and Donna Faye Collins, all of Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, January 7, 2015, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Bush officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until the funeral hour on Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
