It is with deep sorrow that the family of Randy Karas, 68, of Corbin, Kentucky, announces his peaceful passing on January 11, 2026, at his home surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Randy was born on February 18, 1957, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, to James and Darlene Karas. Known for his witty sense of humor and adventurous spirit, Randy dedicated many years as a Manufacturing Executive, leaving a legacy of steadfast leadership and the ability to inspire colleagues and employees to achieve their full potential. He loved spending summer days on the lake enjoying “a cold one” with family and friends and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. “Go Pack Go!”

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Darlene Karas.

Randy is survived by his cherished wife, Laura Karas; his son, Derrick Karas of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; his daughters, Lauren Meyer and husband, Cody, of Johnstown, Colorado, Jailyn Ramey of Corbin, Kentucky, and Lailah Ramey of Corbin, Kentucky. He also leaves behind two beloved grandchildren: Harrison Karas and Isla Meyer; two siblings: brother, Scott Karas and wife Diana, of Hastings, Minnesota, and sister, Melody Mueller and husband Steven, of West Bend, Wisconsin; his father and mother in-law, Harold and Linda Helton of Rocky Top, Tennessee; and many cherished nieces and nephews, including Anthony and Brooke Young and their son, Carson Young, who devoted unwavering support during his time of need; along with special caregivers and friends: Robin Garland, Jennifer Biffle, and many others.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Hart Funeral Home. Open casket visitation will take place for family and friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., and closed casket visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service immediately following.

    Randy with the good hair, where do I even begin? You touched so many lives and made such a positive impact on every one. I am beyond blessed to have gotten to know you and have you in my life. I just know you’re in heaven making everyone laugh and feeling peachy again. I love you and will see you again one day.
