Raymond Lee Kidd
November 15, 1953 - August 13, 2025Raymond Lee Kidd, 71, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. Born November 15, 1953, in Corbin, Raymond was the son of the late Lawrence and Kura Kidd.
In addition to his father and mother, Raymond was preceded in death by his step-mother, Elizabeth Kidd, and his brother, James Kidd.
Raymond leaves behind his son, Craig Kidd and wife Elizabeth; daughter, Stephanie Kidd; son, Raymond Kidd; four grandchildren: Taylor Kidd, Colin Kidd; Andrew Stack, and Allyson Stack; two great-grandchildren: Gabriel Turner and Maggie Jones; former wife and mother of his children: Dawn Blackwood; brother, Carl Thomas Kidd, Sr., and wife Eileen; sister, Leanna Holdiness and husband James; nephew, Clifford Partin and wife Sara; niece, Angel Casares and husband Troy; nephew, Carl Thomas Kidd, Jr., and wife Jade; and nephew, Andrew Lee Kidd and wife Nikki, as well as numerous friends.
Raymond was retired from Delta Gas where he had worked as a welder.
A true outdoorsman, Raymond found his greatest joy fishing on calm waters, hunting in the quiet of the woods, and shooting trap with friends. He was known for his jokes, his steady hand, and his deep appreciation for nature. Beyond his passions, Raymond was a devoted family man and loyal friend, always ready to share a story, offer an honest word, or simply sit in quiet companionship.
Raymond will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 16, 2025, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Bargo officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.

Just a few weeks ago at the Southern Zone trapshoot, he came over to check on me. We had not been squaded together that week but as always he would check up on me. We need a lot more people in this world like him. My Friend you will be greatly missed.
