Rita Faye Morgan
October 7, 1948 - December 17, 2013Rita Faye Morgan, age 65, passed away Tuesday morning. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion, Post 88.
Rita enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo with her family and friends. Often, she volunteered her services at the Woodbine Bingo Parlor.
Her mother, Martha Rose Trosper, and a daughter, Laura Morgan, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her devoted husband of forty years, James Morgan, of Corbin; her son, Michael and LeAnn, of Corbin; her father, Harold Trosper, of Michigan; sisters: Pat Walters, of Barbourville and Mary Lane, of Corbin; one brother, Harold E. Trosper, of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews. She leaves behind other family members and numerous friends, especially her Bingo friends and American Legion friends, all to mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Rita will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2013, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Hart Cemetery on Moore Hill. Pallbearers will be Richard Wagers, Cody Lane, Zachary Fields, Justin Fields, David Huff, and Daniel Huff. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Lane and Scott Fields.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 Thursday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master St., Corbin.
