Ronald L. Miller, Sr.
February 28, 1943 - July 21, 2022Ronald L. Miller, Sr., 79, of Corbin passed away Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his home. Born February 28, 1943, in Beards Fork, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Paul Miller and Virgie Miller.
Ronald was a veteran of the United States Army. Before retirement, he was the owner and operator of Miller’s Upholstery and Miller Firearms. He thoroughly enjoyed visiting and talking with people. Many of his past customers continued to visit with him.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his step-mother, Orpha Miller; brother, Paul “Pete” Miller; sister, Flora Parsons; three step-sisters: Geneva Griggs, Ann Novak, and Dorothy Toucheck; and one step-brother, Arvil Carter.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years, Bonnie Lay Miller; daughter, Linda Carroll; son, Ronald “Ron” L. Miller, Jr.; three grandchildren: Alicia Helton and husband C.J., Holli Miller, and Brayden Miller; three brothers: Randall Carter and wife Marilyn, Ancil Carter and wife Ellen, and Johnny Miller and wife Kathy; two sisters: Doris Hensley and husband Stanley and Connie Hash and husband Bret; and a special sister-in-law, Patsy Richardson and husband Richard. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends. Ronald was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 24, 2022, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Stanley Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 P.M. Sunday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
