Rose M. Ball
July 16, 1930 - February 12, 2024Rose M. Ball, age 93, of Corbin, Kentucky, departed this life at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin on February 12, 2024. Born in Harlan, Kentucky, on July 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Moses L. Ball and Narcissus Smith Ball.
In addition to her father and mother, Rose was preceded in death by her siblings: Paul, Clark, Roscoe, Moses “Bud”, Franklin, Martha, Earsel, Mae, and Victoria.
Rose is survived by several nieces, nephews, long-time friend and caregiver, Dorothy Lawson, and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Rose was retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio. She loved her home and entertaining. She collected cookbooks and dolls from around the world.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Candle Ridge Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Hart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
