Thelma Delora Edwards
October 7, 1937 - May 17, 2023Thelma Delora Edwards, 85, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, in Springfield, Kentucky. Born October 7, 1937, in Gray, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Matilda Coffey.
In addition to her father and mother, Thelma was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Ray Coffey, and her grandson, Travis Baker.
Truly descriptive of a coal miner’s daughter, Thelma enjoyed the country. She dearly loved her family who described her as an excellent cook.
Thelma leaves behind her son, Teddy Baker and wife Debbie; daughter, Vivian Storm and husband James; daughter, Linda Myers and husband David; son, Tony Baker and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Miranda Baker and husband David Lammlein; son, Gary Edwards; son, Billy Edwards; daughter, Marsha Fox; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, May 22, 2023, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Keck Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
