Thelma was such a wonderful friend. I loved her so very much. She took me in as one of her own. She was so Blessed to have such a wonderful family. When we worked together all she could talk about was Angie, Connie and Alice. I will never forget her getting a speeding ticket coming home from work one night. She dared to me tell – we laughed about it all the time. She would say David would never let me live it down. She said he would always tell her not to fly. I look forward to seeing her in HEAVEN.

My mamaw was the most amazing grandmother a kid could ever wish for. When I was little growing up in Michigan, I used to tell everyone I was from KY because that’s where my mamaw lived and where I felt my roots were. My memories of KY and my family and her house gave me nothing but happiness and shaped the person I am today. She was strong, beautiful and resilient and stubborn. A true Kentuckian. I could not be the oman I am today without her guidance and influence in my life, as well as my mothers. She was God’s gift to our family.

It was my pleasure to have had the opportunity to meet Ms.Thelma and her daughters. I helped to care for Ms.Thelma and they, in turn, helped to inspire my belief that there is still good in this world. Kindness radiated from them all. I believe that the Lord places us where we need to be and where we are needed the most. I am blessed to have been a part of Ms.Thelma’s life.

Lucy, Pat, and Alice. We are so thankful that God allowed our paths to cross, and that we were able to have the wonderful privilege to know your wonderful mother. She was a pleasure to be with, and it was nice to have a coke a cola partner. 🙂 Thank you for including Ora in your times of visit that you had with your mother. You haven’t lost her; because you know where she is. She is now healed and restored, and it will not be long until you are reunited with her, and what a family reunion that will be! We love you all, and we are praying for peace, comfort, and strength for you all.
