Thelma Pennington Davis
December 31, 1934 - May 31,2023Thelma Pennington Davis, 88, of Keavy, Kentucky, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born December 31, 1934, in Leslie County.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Davis; mother and father, Stella and Burley Pennington; two brothers: Willie Pennington and Arthur Pennington; and two sisters: Margaret Fields and Alpha Pennington.
Thelma is survived by three brothers: El Pennington and wife Ora, James Pennington and wife Opel, and Carl Pennington; five nieces: Darlene Stidham, Geraldine Ellis (Kevin), Thelma Jean Higgins (Rufus), Norma Pennington, and Holly Pennington; and a host of other friends and family.
Thelma was a member of Lily Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2023, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Billy Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery at Keavy, Kentucky, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
