Verley June (Cox) Roaden
July 14, 1932 - January 3, 2015Verley June (Cox) Roaden age 82 of West Chester, Ohio was born July 14, 1932 in Corbin, Kentucky. Verley went to Heaven on Saturday January 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Layton Roaden on January 3, 2011. She is survived by two daughters Karen Roaden Viox (Darryl Bell) and granddaughter Nic; Sharen Roaden Werden (son in law William); grandson Dustin Werden (Holly); great granddaughters Emerson Anne Werden and Harper Ann Werden. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Cox Fite of Cincinnati, Ohio, sister in law Nannie Roaden Craig, and brother in law Cholen Roaden. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Paris Cox of Corbin, Kentucky; three brothers James, William, and Frederick Cox; two sisters Geraldine Cox Merritt and Irene Cox Hickey. She will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and close friends. She will always be missed and remembered by her special “family” at Chesterwood Village in West Chester. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Thursday January 8, 2015 from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM, with Pastor Kristy Moser, officiating.
Additional visitation at the Hart Funeral Home in Corbin, Kentucky on Saturday January 10, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow in Corinth Cemetery.
