Vivian “Susie” Storm

July 24, 1957 - January 29, 2024

Vivian Lois Storm, 66, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at her home.  She was born July 24, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Affectionately called “Susie” by her family and friends, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She thoroughly enjoyed her grandchildren, especially spending time with them at Christmas.  She also enjoyed traveling and dancing.

Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Baker and Thelma Coffey; her nephew, Travis Baker; her great-aunt, Vivian Lois Coffey; and her uncle, Bill Coffey.

Susie leaves behind her loving husband of 45 years, Jimmy Storm; son, Chris Storm and wife Ashlee; daughter, Shelly Stevens Bramer; five grandchildren: Lilyann Storm, Jedidiah Storm, John Storm, Megan Poore, and Madison Poore; siblings: Teddy Baker and wife Debbie, Linda Myers and husband Dave, Tony Baker and wife Jennifer, Miranda J. Baker and husband David Lammlein, Gary Edwards, Billy Edwards, and Marsha Fox.  She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Susie was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 5, 2024, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dennis Hammons officiating.  Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. – 1 P.M. Monday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street Corbin, KY 40701

The family expresses “forever gratitude” to the doctors and nurses at DCI.
