Wallace C. Johns
March 9, 1931 - March 4, 2014Wallace C. Johns, 82, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Baptist Health Corbin.
Born in Corbin, KY, on March 9, 1931, he was the son of the late Otis and Ethel Johns. In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Johns; by a brother, James Bernard Johns; by a sister-in-law, Joylene Johns; and by a brother-in-law, James D. Ishmael.
Survivors include two sisters: Doris Ishmael Trammell and husband Mickey and Betty Ford and husband Charles; a cousin, Connie Helton; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, J.A. and Mary Lou Mayne to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 8, 2014, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow in Lynn Camp Cemetery.
The family of Wallace Johns will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lynn Camp Cemetery Fund.
