Tony hired me as his HR manager at the Greensboro, NC O’Reilly Auto Parts distribution center in 2008. We worked closely together through good and bad times until I moved to Virginia in 2015. Tony always had a story to share to help him relate to teammates – about his “rode hard and hung up wet” childhood, his grilling techniques, his love for Cadillacs and wolf sculptures, his special greens recipe, and his tough but kind work ethic. He would do anything to help a teammate succeed at their job, and was always available to lend a helping hand. Tony was an interesting person and great leader, and will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Tony for 15 years. He had an absolute knack for telling the most colorful stories. He was a very caring person with such a big heart. Glad I had the chance to know him and so sorry to hear that he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with his family.

Thank you for sharing! Mom and I both agree, we had heard him mention your name! He took pride in his work and loved his team members and truly cared about others! We didn’t get those good ol’ greens this Thanksgiving because he didn’t feel good! 😔

So sorry for your loss. I worked many years with him in Little Rock, Ar. One of my favorite memories is around this time of the year he would dress up as a elf for our team members and take pictures.

Tony was one of the best Managers i ever had the pleasure of working with. I worked with him at the O’Reilly Auto DC in Arkansas. He was always willing to listen and was open to try new suggestions on things. He had a big heart and always smiling and in a good mood. Tony will be truly missed.

Judy, reading the comments about Tony, reminds us, just how much kindness means to those around us. how very proud you must feel I pray for peace and comfort for the days ahead and that all the good times and memories will ease the heartache you feel today. I too feel the loss, yet feel very proud of Tony and to know that the sweet little boy I remember didn’t change. Tony was so loved because He loved others. God bless you Judy.
