Evelyn Felts
December 6, 1937 - August 27, 2016Evelyn Felts, 78, of Corbin passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Continue Care Hospital. Born December 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Crissie and Mary Colene Kassow.
In addition to her father and mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troman Felts and a grandson, Chase Felts.
She is survived by six sons: Thomas Felts and wife Libby, Chris Felts and fiancé June, William Felts and wife Kim , Charles Felts and wife Michelle, Jerry Felts and wife Sheyla, and Danny Felts and wife and Kasey; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one sister, Jeep Head, to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be private.
To honor her memory, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society

Posted at 04:17h, 22 SeptemberI am saddened this evening to learn of Evelyn’s passing – It must be a great loss for the whole family. Her kindness to me as a young girl is not forgotten. She gave me shelter in time of need, taught me to sew, and helped me find one of my first jobs – all at a time when she had two small children. I also remember her talent for drawing and it makes me smile to remember how I discovered this hidden trait! Tonight my thoughts are with you all and, though I may not know you in this life, I believe God has connected us together through my much loved grandmother – that too – makes me smile. Sandy Ramsey
