Georgia Luster Peace
December 5, 1949 - October 7, 2014Georgia Luster Peace, 64, of Corbin passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014, at Baptist Health Corbin.
She attended Faithway Pentecostal Church. Spending time with her grandchildren was one of her greatest joys.
Born December 5, 1949, in Hyden, she was the daughter of the late George Washington Luster and Dellia Sullivan Luster.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings: Logan Luster, Louise Hall, Lillie Engle, Solomon Luster, Lois Brock, Lucille Wilson, Luther Luster, and Lester Luster; and her husband, Hayes “Bo” Peace.
She is survived by two daughters: Melody Vess and Della Rees and husband Barry; four grandchildren: Jeffrey Rees, Jessica Rees, Mykah Napier, and Macy Napier; three sisters: Lela Hill and husband Earnest, Lona Wilder and husband Estill, and Lola Caldwell and husband Joe; and sister-in-law, Gloria “Dockie” Moore, as well as other relatives and numerous friends, to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2014, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Herschel Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 P.M.
Hart Funeral Home, Inc., located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests monetary donations be made to Corbin Rotary Club Empty Stocking Fund P.O. Box 511 Corbin, KY 40702.
